Online Latest And Fashion T Shirts

One day, in the afternoon, during a casual walk around her office, a friend came upon a ridiculous sight. It was a post-lunch stroll, so one can assume her cognitive powers were nowhere near their sharpest. But this sight still managed to bomb her brain. Walking across her, and speeding up towards her at an awkward speed, was a short, podgy man eminently unremarkable. But then there was the tee-shirt he was
wearing. It was some shade of blue, with white letters scrawled over it. "Kiss me, I am SMRT".

Seriously?!

As a shell-shocked expression enveloped the friend's face, the man seemed to slow down just a trifle. He threw confused glances at her, looked almost sorry, and ambled off. A few breaths later, the girl is rolling with laughter.

Now, you may ask, why do some people do this to others? The answer is, no one knows! It is just one of those mind-boggling mysteries of the universe that may need complicated algorithms to decipher.

We know, tee-shirts are cool. And we know, Tee-shirts with funny sayings are cooler. But c'mon guys, don't try so hard! If you were born smart but education ruined you, then don't flaunt your idiocy so blatantly!

When buying a tee, 'look' at it. Fish out your smart phone, access dictionary.com and check the spellings for heaven's sake. Secondly, 'imagine' someone else wearing that same tee. If your imaginary reaction is either a smirk or a goofy smile or outright laughter, keep that bloody tee down and run! Not like there's just one good tee out there eh?

Tee-shirts with sayings obviously look good only as long as the saying makes sense. Or are complete non-sense. There is no middle ground here Earthlings.

With the advent of anything good, there is an avalanche of the cheaper, less smart fake versions. Tee-shirts are the same. For every subtly smart tee out there, there are a 1000 tacky disastrous ones. Keep your senses, and your dictionaries, around you whenever you go tee shopping. You can't ever be too careful here!

Musicali Tee With Horn Ok Tees

Posted by Horn Ok Tees in - 0 comments

Music merchandise has always been fascinating. For the followers of a band, owning souvenirs that bear the stamp or logo of the outfit is a peculiar high. Tee-shirts are the most vocal, most creative residents of this material universe. At any rock concert, if you don't see a headbanging sea of black tees, then the trip probably wasn't worth it!

Wearing your allegiance on your being is the ultimate high, the ultimate evidence of your love. The musicians on the stage, swept up in an adrenaline, alcohol, smoke and what not haze, can hardly ever make out faces in the crowd in front of them. But heck they can see the tee-shirts, the boisterous prints on them, and they know who the listeners are here for.

The impassioned association of music fanatics with tees is quite old. Merchandise selling takes up added importance in an age when CDs don't sell much and most people out there are effortless downloaders. The bands need to make money eh, and tee-shirts and other merchandise help them do that and more. It helps them build a cult following. It helps build recall value like no other, because if you dig deep, you will discover 10 new bands everyday. The music business is in a manic rush right now, and very few things out there have escaped the clutches of marketing mumbo jumbo.

Tee-shirts, we hope, are one of those things. The high of wearing one of them is fantastic, you want it to be true. You want it to be your mascot of fan-dom.

Over the years of wearing many a band tee, the biggest discovery has been that there are categories here - there are the tacky, painted on ones which come cheap; and then there are the slick, assembly-line beauties which sell for a bomb but are "official merchandise".

Aah, well, money has always been a party-pooper hasn't it?

Let's Par-tee!

Posted by Horn Ok Tees in - 0 comments

Parties are like quicksand pits. If you don't figure out right in the first few seconds how you are going to survive, you are going to drown. Pathetically. Without a trace to leave behind. So if you have been handed the wrong side of the socialising stick, it is time to acquire some tools to ease your journey through networking land.

First things first, the dressing. Of course we are talking about informal bashes and not sophisticated soirĂ©es, so we are thinking jeans and tee-shirts and not bows and ties. Now jeans, thank heavens, are still the Cool T-Shirts when they the plainest. So stick to that. Plain blue/black/grey, and if you are the adventurous kinds, with tinges of green, will work wonders.

So that's done.

Shoes. Again, keep it simple, but not dirty or sloppy, because 'informal' doesn't really mean 'I don't care'! Sneakers are OK, floaters are OK, even flat chappals are forgiven. Washed socks are taken for granted here, as always.

Now tees. Hmmm, now this is make or break. If they are too verbose, then you are definitely a wannabe desperate for attention. If it's too plain, then you may just merge into the background. So think wise and think hard. Possibly the safest thing to do here is go minimal. Pick a pleasant colour. Fluorescent blue will not help your social anxiety at all! Keep the sleeves short, and of course you can go sleeveless if you are proud of your biceps. But don't be too sure that your opinion will be shared by others! Hee!

Now the prints. A party is a wrong place to show off your political inclination, so please leave those anti-corruption tees alone. Pick a tee that has some imagery on it. Like a bulb? A sheep? A brain? Pick a cheeky one and not a wordy one. This will attract attention, without you having to try too hard. If its funny, people will smile at you, someone may comment on it, and if you are really lucky, you may get a fist bump! Ha ha!

And if you are targeting the opposite sex, just a cool tee won't do. Keep that mouth freshener handy!

Is 'kids fashion' An Oxymoron?

Posted by Horn Ok Tees in - 0 comments

Children are supposed to be beacons of innocence in a world imploding with fakery. But no, they haven't been spared. Now there are mega-brands that are selling everything from mini skirts to tiaras to spoil little girls senseless. It was a relief in the initial stages that the little guys had been spared the madness of choices. But damn no, we think way slower than the fashion express. From milk-sucking tots to pre-teeny boppers, the style epidemic has slain all of them.

So it's a surprise to come across a cherubic kid wearing a smart, appropriately cheeky tee that instantly makes you go "awwww"! There was one, sadly online, picture of a wild-haired little cutie wearing the most amazing tiny tee. It said "Still living with my parents". Now that's hilarious! It is cute, funny, so insanely smart and ironic, that you want to just scoop up the kid and give him a mighty hug. Only after seeking the parents' permission of course!

But then the point is this - are there still funny, cutesy tee-shirts available for kiddos? Where are they? Have they been buried under the pink and blue boulders? Please let's have them back. Because it is so ridiculously cute to see a little man wearing a 'Rockstar' tee-shirt. It is infinitely cooler to see a little girl wearing a T shirt saying Hello Kitty, than sporting a sickeningly pink image of, sigh, Hannah Montana. It is so much better to see tiny citizens wearing mini Police/The Doors/Bob Marley tees than adults who wear them without an iota of idea who those people are. Let them wear black and grey and green and canary yellow. Why impose any ill-thought colour coding based on genders. Tee-shirts keep the little ones comfy, without robbing them of their rightful cuteness.

When it comes to kiddie Fashion T Shirts, please bring back the old and the plain and the simple! Let's celebrate the bunnies and the fairies and even the unicorns. Let there be that brilliant equilibrium which adult fashion is sorely missing - a mix of expected cuteness and sometimes, the funky quirkiness.

Fashion Tee Stas

Posted by Horn Ok Tees in - 0 comments

Fashionistas argue ad nauseum about 'trends', 'in', 'out', 'flavour of the season', etc. If you happen to live on the adjoining planet where the brand of your shoes doesn't affect your life in the minutest, then your discomfort must be appalling. Fashion weeks seem to run through the year nowadays, so it sure is a bit difficult not to get sucked into all the incredibly serious talk about fabrics and colours and cuts and silhouettes and cellulite.

But before fashion became an ego maniacal industry with malnourished mascots, it was a word that meant something personal. And comfortable. For matters of convenience, and general indifference to the rest, let's revisit that definition.

On a hot summer day, and indeed they have become a regular weather feature, just the sight of a light cotton tee-shirt is respite. White cotton T-Shirts Online and plain blue jeans are possibly the most under-rated and under-represented fashion statements. The ensemble looks and feels super cool, and needs no advertisements. If fashion ever wants to go back to casual, it should come embrace the Cotton Tshirt.

Whatever the essence of their make, and whether they are round-necked or collared or V-necked, tees can be perennial fashion accessories. They are canvasses waiting for one to imprint one's creativity on them. And the mightiest pat on their back is that in spite of decades of existence, they have never gone out of popular favouritism and closets. How many labels can claim that feat?

In an age when everyone is falling over each other to outdo brand madness, tee-shirts may look too simple to be able to survive. But thank the cotton gods, they have survived well! Even the most photographed Hollywood 'star' dresses down in a tee combo when he/she has had enough of the fame monster. They may unleash pyrotechnics and visual bamboozlement on stage more often, but even the most vapid musician will admit he wants to strip n relax in a tee when off-stage.

Tee-shirts define true fashion because they are casual, are accesible, are open to a gazillion variations and add-ons, go well with pants/skirts/shorts/kilts/lungis/towels/bikini bottoms, and they are not snobbish about any of it. Wonder when tees will have their own ramp show. High time!
